Molar concentration

Molar concentration measures the amount of dissolved solute per volume of solution. Divide the solute amount in moles by the final solution volume in litres. The volume is the volume after mixing, not simply the amount of solvent added. If 0.5 moles of solute are present in 2 litres of solution, the concentration is 0.25 moles per litre. Convert millilitres to litres before calculating.
