Age Suitability

Adult eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Connection Ocean. People under 18 may not create or update a profile or use member discovery, messaging, audio calls, or video calls.

Features covered by this policy

Connection Ocean includes social and communication features intended for adult language and cultural exchange:

• Public-facing member profiles
• Member discovery
• User-generated content, including profile text and photos
• Direct messaging
• Audio calls
• Video calls

How age eligibility is handled

Eligibility is based on the birth date supplied by the user. Connection Ocean does not independently verify every user's age, does not currently use third-party verified age assurance, and does not currently use Apple's Declared Age Range API.

This eligibility policy is separate from the App Store age rating, which Apple calculates from the app's content and capabilities.

Safety controls and moderation

Members can report or block another person from supported in-app surfaces. Reports may be reviewed and accounts may be restricted or removed for harmful, abusive, illegal, exploitative, or sexually explicit content or conduct.
