A larger copy may behave differently

Scaling a shape changes its properties at different rates. For similar solid shapes of the same material, volume and mass grow faster than surface area as dimensions increase. A successful small model therefore does not automatically predict all behavior at full size. Identify which physical relationships matter, and use models whose limitations are understood.
