Test the assumptions that matter
Models and measurements contain uncertainty. A design that works only at one exact friction value may perform poorly when conditions vary. Sensitivity analysis asks how much an outcome changes when an input changes. Explore plausible ranges and identify assumptions that strongly affect the decision. A detailed calculation can still be misleading if its inputs are unjustified.
