Check the specification and the need

Verification asks whether a result meets specified requirements. Validation asks whether it serves the intended use and user needs. A stand may match its drawing yet block the page-turning movement users need. These are different questions, and both matter. Record the evidence for each instead of treating a passed dimension check as proof of usefulness.
