Build a sequence that fits the evidence
A geological history combines observations, relative relationships, and suitable numerical ages. Start with events that are directly constrained, then identify uncertain steps. If new evidence contradicts the sequence, revise the interpretation. A good explanation states what each observation supports and avoids inventing an exact date or missing event just to complete the story.
