What a skeptical challenge asks

Skepticism questions whether a belief or class of beliefs is adequately supported. A skeptical argument may ask how we can rule out error or deception. Different replies dispute what justification requires or how the challenge is framed. Raising a skeptical possibility does not by itself prove that every ordinary belief is false.
