Learn by watching a model

Observational learning involves learning from watching other people. A learner may observe how someone solves a problem without receiving the same direct consequences. What is noticed, remembered, and attempted affects later performance. Observation does not guarantee imitation, and imitation alone does not prove that the underlying reasoning was understood.
