Connections can provide resources

Social capital refers, in several sociological approaches, to resources connected with social relationships and networks. Contacts may share information or provide support, but not all ties offer the same resources. Strong internal connections can also exclude outsiders. Specify the relationships and resource in question instead of treating a large network as automatically beneficial.
