Recognize paid and unpaid contributions

Work includes activities that produce goods, services, or care. Some are paid through employment; others are unpaid, including many household tasks. A study limited to paid jobs may overlook work that supports daily life. Define what counts as work and whose activities are measured before comparing contributions.
