Distinguish precision from accuracy

A narrow interval indicates a more precise estimate under its assumptions. It can still center on the wrong target if measurements or selection are biased. Surveying more people from the same unrepresentative group can narrow sampling uncertainty without correcting that bias. Check both the uncertainty calculation and how the data were obtained.
