Describe uncertainty with a model

Probability ranges from 0 to 1. In a die model with finitely many equally likely outcomes, 0 means impossible and 1 means certain. A fair die has 6 equally likely faces. Of those 6 faces, 3 are even, so the probability of an even result is one half. Equal likelihood is an assumption to justify, not a rule for every situation.
