Practice real conversations with confidence

These conversation drills help you rehearse real language-exchange dialogue before talking with a partner on ConnectionOcean. Work through sample questions, listen to phrasing, and record short answers at your own pace.

What is conversation practice?

Conversation practice on ConnectionOcean is a set of guided question-and-answer exchanges for language learners. Instead of memorizing isolated words, you rehearse realistic prompts about daily life, culture, and friendship so your next partner call feels easier to start.

How conversation practice helps learners

Repeating natural questions and answers builds speaking rhythm, listening comprehension, and confidence before live calls. The samples cover language exchange, cultural topics, and friendly conversation so you can warm up in the area you need most.

How to use these practice conversations

Choose a topic, open one practice card, and listen to the question first. Answer out loud, then record and play back your response. Compare pacing and clarity, expand your answer with one extra detail, and move to the next card when ready. Use the same flow with a partner by taking turns asking and answering.
